Josh Verhulst

Goalie Josh Verhulst (Wyoming Park) ended his soccer career at Indiana Tech as a two-time All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference first-team member, a WHAC All-Academic performer and an NAIA All-Scholar Athlete.

During his senior season, Verhulst anchored a Warrior defense that allowed just 1.18 goals a game and recorded eight shutouts. Over the final 15 games, including NAIA tournament play, Verhulst led Indiana Tech to an 11-2-2 record and the school’s first national Sweet 16 berth in 25 years. Verhulst earned his bachelors and Masters Degree while at Indiana Tech. After his college career Verhulst oversaw Goalkeeper coaching at Indiana Tech for three years and also was the keeper coach for local club, Fort Wayne Fever. He also holds a Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma. Josh moved back to Grand Rapids three years ago and now resides on the west side of the city with his Wife, Robbie and three-year-old son Lennox.
