Romer Carrasco

Romer graduated from NUR University in Bolivia with a Computer Sciences Degree
He was part of the International Red Cross in Bolivia for four years He currently works for the Wyoming Public Schools in the Technology Department

Romer grew up playing soccer as a native of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

As a high school player, he was chosen to represent his state of Santa Cruz in the national tournament for three consecutive years, winning the national championship twice.

Romer was recruited to play with the Blooming Soccer Club, a professional soccer team in Santa Cruz, after high school. Unfortunately, he sustained a serious knee injury while training with the club and was no longer able to play at the professional level. After rehabilitation from his injury, Romer played for six years with the Escuela de Futbol, a Santa Cruz semi-professional team.

Romer has worked as a GRASA and CR Crew Juniors coach (both select and premier levels) since 1999.Coach for Wyoming Public Schools for 14 years.Presently the Head Coach for the Wyoming High School Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity teams.
